The House investigative committee has released a set of roughly 70 photographs obtained from the property of late adjudicated sex offender Jeffrey Epstein.

This represents the third such publication from a larger collection of over 95,000 photos the committee has obtained from Epstein's estate. It features pictures of quotes from the literary work Lolita inscribed across a female's body, and censored pictures of female international passports.

This release occurs hours before the 19 December due date for the Justice Department to make public each documents associated with its investigation into Epstein.

"These new photographs raise more queries about what exactly the Justice Department has in its possession," said the Democratic lead of the committee, Robert Garcia.

What is in the Photos Made Public

Some of the photographs published on recently feature Epstein speaking with scholar and advocate Noam Chomsky on a personal aircraft; Bill Gates seen beside a individual whose features is redacted; Steve Bannon sitting at a desk across from Epstein, and ex- Alphabet president Sergey Brin at a dinner gathering.

These are the newest high-net-worth, influential men to be photographed in Epstein estate photos published by the House Oversight Committee - formerly published pictures also show US President Donald Trump and former president Bill Clinton, as well as director Woody Allen, former US Treasury Secretary Larry Summers, counsel Alan Dershowitz, Andrew Mountbatton-Windsor, and other figures.

Showing up in the photographs is is not considered evidence of any illegal activity, and a number of the pictured men have said they were never involved in Epstein's unlawful actions.

In a announcement issued alongside the image publication, Democrats on the US House Oversight Committee stated the Epstein estate did not provide explanatory details or dates for the pictures.

"Images were picked to offer the public with openness into a typical cross-section of the images obtained from the property, and to give perspectives into Epstein's network and his profoundly alarming activities," the release states.

The publication also features several photos of excerpts from the Vladimir Nabokov literary work Lolita written in ink across various areas of a woman's body, including her chest, lower extremity, hipbone, and spine. Lolita recounts the story of a young girl who was groomed by a middle-aged literature professor.

An example of a excerpt from the work scrawled across a female's upper body says, "Lolita: the point of the tongue making a journey of three steps down the roof of the mouth to alight, at three, on the teeth".

There are also a series of photographs of female identification and official papers from countries globally, including Lithuania, Russia, the Czech Republic, and Ukraine.

A large portion of the data on the documents, including names and DOBs, is obscured but the House Oversight Committee said in a press release that the travel documents pertain to "women whom Jeffrey Epstein and his conspirators were engaging".

Another photograph depicts Epstein sitting at a table closely in the company of three individuals whose features have been censored - one individual has her palm on Epstein's torso under his garment, and another individual is crouching to look at a adjacent device. Epstein seems to be aiding the final person put on a piece of jewelry.

Another image released is a screenshot of SMS messages from an unknown individual who says they have been provided "several females" and are asking for "$one thousand dollars per girl".

Photo Release Arrives Ahead of DOJ Deadline

The committee has thousands of photos in its custody from the Epstein property, which are "simultaneously graphic and ordinary," its announcement on Thursday noted.

The oversight panel first legally compelled the property of Epstein, who was found dead in a New York prison in 2019 while facing trial on allegations of sex trafficking, in August.

The photos and records the Epstein estate provided to the committee are separate from what is often referred to "the Epstein documents". That material are documents under the DOJ's control connected to its independent probe into Epstein.

Pursuant to the Epstein Files Transparency Act, which the President signed into law last month, the DOJ has a deadline of 19 December to disclose its files. The extent of what's included in the DOJ's documents is not publicly known, and it's probable that a large amount of the content will be heavily censored, comparable to House Oversight Committee releases
