Reports indicate that fan-favorite actors Jennifer Lawrence and Josh Hutcherson are set to appear once again in the newest chapter of the Hunger Games film series, titled The Hunger Games: Sunrise on the Reaping. The film is currently in production.

A Significant Comeback for the Franchise

The duo are slated to play Katniss Everdeen and Peeta Mellark, respectively. Industry whispers indicate their appearance will take the form of a future-set scene, considering the main film series concluded with their characters settled into family life.

This signifies the sixth film in the global Hunger Games franchise.

Sunrise on the Reaping is adapted from a newly published work by author Suzanne Collins. It acts as the follow-up prequel after 2023's The Ballad of Songbirds & Snakes. For this project is Francis Lawrence, who was behind nearly all the previous films in the series.
